It's certainly a good time to be a ukulele teacher/author. I've been running workshops round the country for the last couple of months. Dunedin has an especially active ukulele group.
There'll be a New Zealand Ukulele Festival in November (www.nzukulelefestival.org.nz), and they're anticipating 1400 kids will have a go at the world record mass uking...
