If I ever go to France I will be very disappointed if this doesn't happen at a market I'm visiting...... There is more than wine, baguettes and the eiffel tower. Ukester Brown
A fun song. Just don't understand how this man is an "amazing" ukulele player. The Tom Waits-like voice gives it a quirky, gruff quality but that is something else.
re; anonymous; I called Steve an "amazing" ukulele player because it's his primary instrument and he uses it to write with. This is amazing to me. There are many different kinds of technical prowess.
Guilty, Gary, guilty. that is not, however, a "trilby" (which is a british fedora, named after the character in the british play Svengali)but rather a stingy brim fedora. (the brim is smaller than 2 1/4".)

It's very good and groove, my compliments!

Thanks so much for the heads up on these guys. Despite the $/Euro exchange rate- I ordered a CD.

I think Craig is also saying he's amazing because he wears a fedora. All ukulele songwriters who wear fedoras are amazing.
Or is that a trilby?
In which case he would be "smashing", not "amazing."
