Brian Lewis sez:
"With the win of Obama and its most appropriate relationship to FDR's first win in bad economic times in 1932, I would like to suggest that you post the best UKE tabs arrangement for the Democrat's Convention anthem of 1932: Happy Days Are Here Again!"
From the verse:
So long, sad times!
Go 'long, bad times!
We are rid of you at last.
Howdy, gay times.
Cloudy gray times,
You are now a thing of the past.
Well, except for the "
gay times" part, they are Happy Days, indeed. Well, and the Depression bit. But thanks for the suggestion, Brian. Here's
the music. And here's
Annette Hanshaw!

How about "Let's have another cup of coffee" by Irving Berlin-- "Mr. Herbert Hoover says now's the time to buy..." Ukester Brown
I really like your site, it would be nice if you kept you political views out of it. Some of us don't agree.
Ukester, I love that song, too. First heard it in "Paper Moon". I'll keep looking for it, but the sheet music is still in copyright, so we probably won't find a scan online yet.
Here's a start, but the chords look too rudimentary. I'm on the road, so will keep checking:

Unless you are a multi-millionaire who's afraid to pay their fair share in this crazy "Experiment" called "America", I could not otherwise imagine a Ukulele enthusiast holding to such a goldarnstoopid P.O.V. unless they were attached by a neuro-umbilical-cord to the FOX NEWS NETWORK output! Wake up and smell the coffee laddie, it's time to go to work!!
